Good Selection!
When paired with "Piano Masterpieces of Maurice Ravel" from Dover publications, you can own Ravel's complete works for solo piano, a worthwhile purchase for any serious pianist.

impressionist music
Ravel is one of the best music impressionists. I love the music. It is difficult, but worth the effort. I like this style of music. The music is beautifully presented in a classical book.

Ravel
This scintillating music is as French as it gets, and that's a real compliment.

Ravel is great
This is a good collection of Ravel. "Valse Nobles et Sentimentales" was why I bought this book(the second movement more specifically). "Le Tombeau de Couperin" is included but is very difficult. I would recommend this book for the intermediate pianist who doesn't already have Ravel in his collection. He is an important modern composer.
