Second Suite in F (Revised) (Score and Parts). By Gustav Holst (1874-1934). Arranged by Colin Matthews. BAND SET. Boosey & Hawkes Concert Band. Book only. Boosey & Hawkes #M060052576. Published by Boosey & Hawkes (HL.48010591).
Like the First Suite of 1909, the Second Suite had to wait more than ten years before it entered the repertoire. Unlike its predecessor, the Second Suite is based entirely on material from folk songs and morris dances. This suite is also considered to be a staple of any quality music library.

Very Fun Song
This is a very exciting suite and is quite fun to play. A bit of a challenge for new musicians, but fun enough to keep them interested and practicing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for fun, beautiful classical music for intermediate level players.

This is a GREAT composition!
I was greatly amazed at the variety between the movements of this suite. I found it to be a very interesting piece that should be found in every substantial music library in the music world, honestly!
