Strong leaders equal strong performance!
These arrangements of Christmas and Hanukkah songs are neither boring nor typical. While "Jingle Bells" offers no positional challenges, it is fun and happy and a good beginning for younger students. "Masters in This Hall" brings the house down for the audience with its moving pace, dynamics, and positional challenges, as does "Christmas Wishes" and "Boughs of Holly." "Hanukkah Celebrations" really holds it's own, starting off sweetly and ending with a bang. Lots of listening and watching are required by your players. A wise director would assign a strong leader in each section to carry the 1st and 2nd violinists along.

Great arrangements
My violin students love these arrangements, especially the upbeat version of Jingle bells. Every year at our holiday recital, I have more kids who want to play the harmony part then melody because they love the rhytmic pattern. It's great!!
