    Versatile addition to the Christmas music library

    Our church choir has been singing selections from Season of Wonder during the Christmas season for several years. While it could be done in it's entirety as a cantata, we prefer choosing a few numbers each year to mix with other advent favorites. Our favorite song is Bethlehem Promise, Bethlehem Joy, which has a lively Fiddler on the Roof feeling. It offers an upbeat balance to more contemplative numbers while still being reverent enough for traditional, conservative church services. The arrangement of Come Thou Long is also much loved in our choir. We aren't pros, but this music can be sung by most youth and adult choirs with a modest amount of rehearsal time.
