Give it a go !
Best Megadeth album ever ! I have only been playing guitar for 6 months so it was challenging, still have a few more songs to tackle. but good overall after you make a few mods, some printing errors and bits that aren't right but still a great book

pure speed metal
i have almost finished learning the entire book but it wasnt easy. these riffs are extremely fast but once you learn them u develop speed and good technique and the songs pretty much get easy to learn. this has to be the best megadeth book. keep slashing and thrashing to ]v[EGADET]v[

Great book
Great book, not for the beginner. Some mistakes on a few of the songs, but overall fairly accurate. After all it is Megadeth, and Marty's solos aren't necessarily the easiest to figure out and put into tab. I would definitely recommend this book if you want to learn some lightning quick riffs.

damn fine albumn
holy wars isnt exactly correct but your not going to get it all right unless your in megadeth. daves riffs will grip you and tear up your fingers. Thats why it is thrash metal and thats why hes the best. You can learn a lot of new fingerings and picking techniques. The tempo changes are a litlle tricky but have the cd to play along with. start slow learn slow but youll get it. Some notaions are on the wrong strings. A lot of the solos are mistabbed but listen to the cd to figure them out. Hammerons and pullofs arent marked in a few songs but youll be able to figure out which is supposed to be which. use a medium or light pick light for solos medium for rhytem. Other than that great notations

great fun and challenge
This book is great if you want fun riffs to learn and intricate solos to challenge you. On first picking it up, one can learn tons of easy rhythm to get engaged in the material. There are also plenty of solos to keep you occupied. You may want to start practicing your sweep picking to keep up with Friedman. The only negative is the number of mistakes in the book. Did anyone proofread it??? There are many typos in the tabulature. Plus one hilarious mistake in the rhythm of Hangar 18 at the end of Friedman's 2nd major solo; a part from the beginning of the song was pasted in incorrectly.

A FEW GREY HAIRS
This book is definitely not for your beginner Megadeath fan. Don't expect to learn these songs in a matter of days. The solos are quite intricate and the tempo changes are difficult. Some material is not accurate also but nothing is perfect. The artist themselves don't usually play the solos 100% true to studio recording. Take a deep breath go slowly and you will learn and l mean LEARN!!!!!!!!!

Really helpful...but riffs are painful !
Quite accurate yes, if you rely on the standard notation instead of the TAB... which sometimes is wrong, or overly complicated for easy parts... but if you're buying this, I assume you got enough guitar mastery to easily figure out the right notes or the right fingerings...

Good Stuff
The riffs for the most part are well done. The solos are kinda correct although the ending of 'Holywars' is wrong, and marty's parts on 'Hangar' should be based on MixoLydian with a c# (he said so himself in Guitar World). It's a thrash MUST HAVE.

Fast and furious but also quite Wrong
This is probably the best Megadeth album and maybe the fastest. And for those who dare to play those Marty Friedman solos everything's here. If it is the same make of tab book that I have it is pretty good but, there are a few mistakes. Simple riffs that are on the wrong string (Intro to "Tornado of Souls" for instance) and also things that should have hammer ons and pull offs are writen as picked. But all in all still well worth buying. I mean who can resist attempting "Hanger 18!"

Bloody Brilliant!
Wicked album. Sheer thrash at its very, very best. If you don't own it, buy it now! Book's exact, note for note. Megadeth rule!
