This is the 6th collection in Martha Lynn Thompson's best-selling Ring with 6 series. Expanding the 12-bell concept, these pieces use 14-17 bells, all are hymn tune or carol settings, and all can be rung by six ringers without the use of 4-in-hand ringing. A seventh person ' perhaps the director ' is needed for the simple percussion part. Although the pieces stand alone without percussion, the instruments add much to the nature of the pieces. Suggested assignments are provided for each piece.
