Call of Ktulu
The Call of Kutulu has some sweet solo licks in it.It shows Cliff's techniques and unique style. However this book takes some practice though. Most of the songs are very fast.Fade To Black is a fairly easy song.Just memorize a stanza and play it over and over and slowly increase your speed until you can play it as fast as on the cd.It takes practice but it feels so good when you finally master an entire song. The fastest song in my opinion is Fight Fire With Fire.

Good Book
I think this book is kick ass. All the songs are really accurate. The songs one this book aren't really hard. the onle part that may be inaccuarte is the intro to "escape". but other than that its good. Fight fire with fire is the hardest

You Gotta Love It!
Ride The Lightning is definitely one of Metallica's best albums. This book is very accurate on every song. "The Call of Ktulu", and "For Whom The Bell Tolls", are a great example of Cliff Burton's creativity. Some of the wah instructions are inaccurate during "The Call of Ktulu", but it's kind of hard to tell what Cliff is doing on some parts anyway.... I would difinitely say, buy this book!

Good book
I think this book kicks ass. It is really accurate. Some of the harder songs are fight fire with fire (because its fast), and the call of ktulu. The Call... has some pretty hard bass wah... The easiest song is either fade to black or for whome the bell tolls, even creeping death. Escape is also a really fun song to play.

Cliff Burton owns us all...
"Ride The Lightning" is one of Metallica's best albums, in my opinion. Cliff Burton was an amazing bassist. This is a great book for any aspiring bassist. Featured in this are classics such as the dark ballad "Fade to Black," the epic "The Call of Ktulu," the total awesomeness of "For Whom The Bell Tolls," and many more. Very accurate. The main difficulty is the speed and the fingering. An amazing book, overall. Buy it; you know you want to.

My hand hurts!
This book is great. It has helped me to learn a lot of great songs, but you have to be very fast. Most of these songs take a lot of practice because they are so fast.So don't expect to learn these songs in a short period of time because it's not going to happen. Happy bassing.

God-like = Burton
Cliff Burton was a god of gods. I still can't believe how fast he was. I mean, seriously. Holy shiza. That guy was a mad-man. I've always wanted to learn the best Metallica song, and this book teaches you. Just don't expect it to be easy. Well worth your money, though.
