A little too simplified
As the rehearsal pianist for a community orchestra, I wanted a version that included the ENTIRE piece but with some simplification. This piece was a little too simplified, it was shortened, and the transitions were awkward with odd key changes. I ended up making my own version off the Gershwin...

Could be better
I wanted a version of Rhapsody in Blue that captures the essence of the entire piece, rather than just the "popular" themes, which most do. In that regard, this version accomplishes this. But in the end, the piece feels "piecemeal". Rather than flowing from one segment to the next, the...

is there a better piece of music?
I am an advanced intermediate player and found the music a delight to play. It was chorded just right. This work is not for the beginner, but provides a bit of a challenge to get it to really sound the best.
