Rhapsody In Blue Theme - Easy Piano Solo by George Gershwin (1898-1937). Arranged by Jan Thomas. For easy solo piano. Masterworks; Piano Solo - Popular Sheet; Solo. Standards and 20th Century. SMP Level 5 (Intermediate). Single piece. Fingerings (does not include words to the songs). 5 pages. Published by Alfred Music Publishing (AP.PS0351).

With fingerings (does not include words to the songs). Standards and 20th Century. 9x12 inches.

This edition presents one of Gershwin's famous themes in solo form with all of the harmonic richness of the original, but arranged to be more playable for the less-advanced student. There is chromaticism, some jazz rhythm, and lots of dynamic contrast, with chord construction that is not too complex or difficult for smaller hands.

A great CLASSIC...

I've always wanted to play Rhapsody in Blue and it has been too difficult to learn however, this particular arrangement is easy to play. It has some challenging spots because of the harmony that Gershwin puts in the music, but it's fun to play and well worth purchasing!

Thrilled with Rhapsody in Blue

Finally I have found a piece that I can play with little difficulty. I am retired and enjoy playing these beautiful things from the past. Your service is spectacular. I would not hesitate to order again. Thank you. Carolyn Wilklow

Nice arrangement

Looks (and sounds) much more difficult than it really is. Easy to learn, contins most of the main themes. I've purchased multiple copies.
