I love this recording. The early instruments provide brilliant timbre. I perform these on wooden piccolo with a successful blend. Lots of opportunity for the top voice to embellish. Best part is that the Praetorius comes with the 4 & 5 part score so that I can perform it with...

Sheer indulgence
I love early music and have several books, but being an isolated musician 'out in the sticks' rarely get to play ensemble music, a particular pleasure. This will keep me gainfully employed for a very long time !
