100% solid soul

This is an excellent book to get serious about R&B/soul. Covers all the skills you're gonna want in order to play great soul. The book is musically solid. Plenty of keyboard voicings-how when and where to play them.Plenty of excercises. Very detailed about the rythym and style of soul music....

It's A Winner

This book has been a big help in developing my playing, understanding key insight to the style of R&B and even provided some historic references from which to learn even more about this kind of music. I saw that Smitty Mo didn't get very much from it, that's ok but...

Interesting Lick patterns

This book is mainly a collection of keyboard licks. Some are riffs from popular soul, blues and funk tunes. There just riffs and licks. I would recommend for intermediate player just starting to play in this Genre of music. You have to figure out how to incorporate in your playing....
