R & B Classics
This was one of my few disappointments when buying music over the net. Firstly (and this was no fault of the publisher) I found that I already had arrangements of many of the pieces from other play and cd books but secondly and mostly because the play along cd only had one track for each of the pieces, and that track had the solo part as a quiet but nevertheless all too present vibraphone type sound. In other words I could not silence it when using it to play along to. Just about every other play along cd that I have bought (and I have many) has two tracks for each piece of music - one with accompaniment and one completely without.

Here is a BIG R & BLUES charts
Dears player, this is a BIG CHART for get historical R & B! Is for intermediate players. ""Pick up the pieces" (funky) have the same power as the original. "Green Onions" from the big Booker T. and The MG´s. The POWERFULL "SOUL FINGER" (The Barkays), "Soulman", "Respect" and more, are a piece of the excellent collection. Only I saw a mistakes notes in the classic "Walking the dogs", but may be changed for the player. The CD background: All POWER SOUND. I think that the sax player CAN´T LOSE TO BUY THIS ALBUM. Reason?: Passing time editions may be expired, and you´ll can´t get this for your future. Please, excuse my bad english, and keep on playing!!!

Great book! Only one problem...
This book is great, and has songs of all speeds and beats. Unfortuneately, I bought this book for the Pick Up the Pieces Solo. It wasn't there!! Oh, well. These songs are songs most people know, such as Pick up the Pieces, Superstion, Respect, and Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay. I have played Clarinet for three years now, and the alto sax for less than one, so I'm ahead because of my experience in clarinet, as well as being in the advanced Jazz band gives me more experience. NOT FOR BEGINNERS!! Mostly eigth notes, but the notes jump from high to low, and key changes are pretty common.
