Beautiful
First heard this piece on youtube video by the Canadian Brass and found it beautiful and inspiring (check it out) Had to order the music so we can try in our quintet and with my students. I understand this was one of the last things written by composer, Michael Kamen. Wonderful!

Michael Kamen's Quintet is beautiful!
Each instrument's part is written idiomatically for that instrument. Mr. Kamen had a great understanding of each instrument's ability wrote comfortably within that range. This work calls for a very legato style of playing along with a rhythmic confidence in order to pull it off effectively. Fantastic composition.

Best piece of music I've played in a long time!
Not an easy piece, but is well worth the time to make it sound good. The piece is a "Tone Poem" and it does set to mind different visions while being played and/or listened to. You owe it to yourself to do one or the other or both. Michael Kamen was a genius!!
