      Good complement to the practice books

      This book makes good reading alongside Trevor Wye's six practice books. It has pointers on how to work certain sections of some of the practice books. But I would say it doesn't do enough of that. Things like how to find a teacher or how to prepare for a recital...

      Excellent source of information

      For any serious flutist, whether a beginner or professional seeking to audition for orchestras, Trevor Wye's book is full of useful and important information. Also, it happens to read well.
