Basic melodic pieces
The pianist works a lot harder than the violinist here. The piano has the showier part for these pieces; the violin part stays pretty basic and melodic. As far as skill level, I would say the piano is advanced intermediate, and the violin is early intermediate, except for the Old...

Very nice arrangements - also enjoyed having the option for several pieces to play as duets. Just received the book and have only had the chance to play one piece, The Old Rugged Cross. I transposed one of the duet parts for cello for my son and I to play...

Beautifully arranged!
Creative arrangements and perfect for performance! I also love that the piano portions are not just a lame accompaniment... They are sensitively written to harmonize along side the violin as a true duet. Wonderful!
