I've used this book for 20 years...
This is a great book for any bassoonist. It starts out very easy for the beginner and gets more difficult for the high school student. It contains scales and has a section that explains tenor clef and ornamentations. It also has a dictionary. I am a bassoon teacher and all...

Inescapable Method
The Practical Method for Fagot, by Weissenborn, is an inescapable treaty for any student who begins in so noble instrument. This edition, which comes with the Op.8 of he himself author, I recommend it without doubt.
