        Enjoyable, creative arrangements!

        Jan Sanborn continues to provide superb advanced arrangements for the Popular Performer series, utilizing a variety of jazz, blues, and modern styles in creating unique, professional sounding interpretations of these Christmas songs. Wonderful!!

        My favoite Christmas piano book!

        These arrangements are so fun to play. Sound like lush lounge music. The funnest is "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town". The last page and a half has high energy that makes me want to laugh with glee. The songs have good variety between calm sections and more energetic section....

        I love this style

        It's rare that I enjoy 80% of any book I purchase but these arrangements were clever and fun. Some were over the top lengthy but it's loaded with great harmonies and rhythms. I love to see more from this arranger (Jan Sanborn).

        Great stylized tradition

        This book is in the best cocktail lounge tradition of stylized seasonal favorites. While not easy and requiring a big hand or facile playing the arrangements are worthwhile, fun, beautiful - and all of the above!
