      great learnining tool

      The exercises combined with the CD do well to provide both a challenging workout and feedback as to how a great performance of the same would sound.

      teaching an old dog

      I returned to playing the trumpet after leaving it for 15 years. This book helped me get started with a good foundation. It helped me to achieve good tonal quality, some range (high D) and good technique. all in less then a year I highly recommend this book.
