Excellent book
I acquired this exact book over 30 years ago and I am still playing out of the same book today. Debussy's music is very interesting and beautiful. It does help to acquire a good recording of the music to get an idea of the speed and awkward rhythms. My all...

Family Favorite
My piano teacher got this book for me in the early 1970's. The handwritten notes and fingering, etc. are priceless. Countless hours were spent going over sections with a pencil between my teeth while working on these pieces. My son, who is now 24 and studying music, also used this...

Debussy
So many of Debussy's masterpieces are in this book but the edition isn't great. No fingerings whatsoever but I didn't have trouble fingering the pieces myself. Estampes, Image Book I, and L'Isle Joyeuse are advanced and Suite Bergamasque is quite a challenge but the rest is intermediate/advanced. If you're new...
