Great Resource but not level 5!
I have used this with several of my students with great success. The pieces are in varied styles but all present classic pieces that have been much-loved through the centuries. However, I was surprised to see this categorized as a level 5. My students who go through Alfred's Basic Piano...

An outstanding collection
This book includes a wide variety of 29 original compositions in progressive order, beginning with the familar Burgmuller Arabesque and ending with a Bach Invention. Includes Solfegietto, Fur Elise, and Grieg's Puck. This is pefect for intermediate students, levels 5-6.

Good selection/ Poor edition
This book is used a lot but I was almost shocked to see that it contains no editorial notes/ no information on source of the pieces selected. Also the articulations/dynamics are marked without explanation.
