Very Different Than the First
The second edition of the theory book is very different. Page numbers and activities have been changed. It's still a good method, but don't expect to use it with any of the first edition books or with your old lesson plans. I tech class piano and all of my students...

NOOOO!!!!
I've used Faber's method for years and have always loved it. I cannot express my disappointment in their 2nd edition. On the 3rd page of the theory book they begin to teach improvisation! Why on earth would a child who doesn't know the difference between a C and G need...

Very thorough exercises
Faber and Faber have the most thorough set of exercises I've yet seen in piano methods. Besides covering a wide range of skills, they have been very creative is designing exercises that look different from each other so the students don't feel like they're playing the same "games" over and...
