Arnold Edward Trevor Bax (also known as Dermot O'Byrne, the name under which he wrote poetry) was born in Pendennis Road, Streatham, London (England), on November 8th, 1883. He died in Cork, Ireland, on October 3rd, 1953, and is buried in Saint Finbar's Cemetery, Cork.
