Perhaps love Denver Domingo

This is a well set out, accurate transcription of the John Denver Placido Domingo version of Perhaps Love, including the harmony parts as recorded. It sticks to simple on the beat rhythms, omitting some of the syncopations as recorded, but a competent singer will add their own as a matter of course. Estimate keyboard dfficulty around AMEB grade 4.

Multi-purpose piece

This song is appropriate not only for weddings, but for retirement, birthday, and anniversary celebrations. It's also very appropriate for memorial services. A beautiful, expressive piece.

Best wedding song

This song was done by a female soloist this past weekend for our daughter's wedding and was just gorgeous.... A very clear simple melody was an amazing tune. A lot of positive remarks about it after the wedding.

Wonderfullly lifting melody and lyrics

John Denver really outdid himself when he wrote this song. While the chord pattern is kind of basic (even if it is in A, the melody and the lyrics are real attention getters if you really listen with an open heart. I purchased this sheet at the insistence of a friend who I was accompanying for a one time show for a church related group. While I play keyboards and sing I have never had the occasion to do a duet with anyone. Once I nailed the chord pattern and learned the lyrics it got to me. I found it emotionally difficult to concetrate on my finger work while listening to the words I was singing but it all worked out. Every one loved the tune and our presentation.

Better than expected

It's a love song for people who don't pretend to know what love is. This humility balances the syrupy melody, which is also pretty lovely.
