Pavane, Op. 50

When you listen to the original recording done by Gabriel Faure, Robert Schultz did an exact transcription of the song. All of Faure's qualities are transcribed such as delicacy, sensibility, color, and emotion. This is the best.

PAVANE, OP. 50

I listen to WGUC at work where I heard this music. Loved it! I ordered the sheet music and have been enjoying it ever since. The left hand is the challenge on the piano but otherwise, it is a beautiful piece of music.

Great Arrangement!

I love Faure and was just introduced to this piece by a friend. Was excited when I saw it on sheetmusicplus. I ordered it and was not disappointed. I listened to the original on youtube again after learning this piano arrangement and was impressed how it was transcribed from the original.

Beautiful, but a showpiece

This is a showpiece for an advanced pianist. It even says so on the cover.

Great music.

This piece has such a wonderful almost simple melody but also so beautiful. For those who've been taking piano for years this will come easily but the key is to bring deep emotion to the mood. I think it's a good one for anyone taking lessons to learn. This is one I'll be playing for many years to come. For those who don't know, it is also the basis for the song "Isabel" by Il Divo. Great piece.

This is very fun to play, a lovely arrangement, not too difficult but sounds like the real thing.

Pavane, op 50 for piano

Beautifil piano transcription, not very difficult to play, but intense expressively.

Effective and useful!

A lovely solo piano arrangement of Faure's Pavane, this piece could be equally effective used as an encore or as a meditation during a religious service. This arrangement is sufficiently sparse that the pianist has plenty of space to add texture here and there, depending on the venue.
