Pathways to Artistry Technique
Having purchased all nine boks in this series, I can recommend them wholeheartedly. Few other books spell out technique so clealy and then follow up with musical examples. I look forward to even more advanced books in the series1

Outstanding! Using it with great success.
I have attended a number of expensive piano pedagogy seminars over the past five years. This technique book, used in series with technique books 2 and 3 (plus their accompanying Masterworks books), not only include all the useful information I have acquired from the fancy seminars, they are easy to read, easy to apply, and reasonably priced! A minimal amount of note-reading is assumed in book 1, but students may do the thoughtful exercises "starting anywhere on the keyboard", and the benefits are obvious. Thank you, Catherine Rollin!.
