Great transcriptions at a low price
Thanks to Mr Parkening for making such great music available to us poor folk. I bought this mainly for Rick Foster's Jesu, which is almost perfect; it also contains Foster's Sheep and Chris's own terrific Sleepers and Clavier Preludes 1 and 6. Be warned, the first Prelude has been transposed...

Good Music, poor layout
I became interested in this book because I have Parkeing's recording, of the same title. The music is great and fingerings are easy to follow but there are too many unneccesary page turns. If pieces 2 pages long required no page turning I would have given it 5 stars. Right...

A life time of work learning to play these properly no doubt but completely worth the effort. What other composer makes the struggle so worth while? Harvey's comment about Prelude #1 is right on the money! What a spiritual oasis (if you will... and you will!!) that tune is. Thanks...
