Although this composition sounds like it came straight out of the Baroque period, it is actually the first movement of a suite written in 1996 by Karl Jenkins. Instantly recognized as the “diamond commercial” theme, its relentless pulse and dramatic nature make it a natural for bands. Robert Longfield's skilled arrangement puts it within reach of most groups. (2:45).

WINNER
Because of this song, my 7th/8th grade band got first place aat the Music in the Parks compitiotion at HErshy Park. I highly recomend it being both a somewhat challenging peice and a fun one. both the director and students will enjoy it

Amazing!
i am an 8th grader, and have been in band for 4 years. i play the bass clarinet. this is one of, if not the best song i have ever played. i would recomend this song to any band. this piece makes the whole band get excited. we all love...
