The music is generally well printed, easily readable, and price was good. Problem - not all songs from the movie are included.

Long Time Fan
Being a home pianist who can't play by sound, it was great finding the sheet music for this, one of my favorite musicals. Only setback was that "They Call The Wind Miriah" is not arranged for melody.

Contains the perfect, haunting song of home.
In the back of this beautiful piano vocal album of "Paint Your Wagon," there is a picture of the lovely Jean Seberg, seated on the floor before the fire in her new home, looking up with love at Lee Marvin, who returns her look of affection and attention. This is the scene at the end of the song "A Million Miles Away Behind the Door," which has haunted my memory for decades. Written by Alan Jay Lerner and Andre Previn, it is a perfect example of "The Songs That Got Away," which was the name of an album by Sarah Brightman. The movie is too long, but the premise is, How do you build civilization from nothing, both as a town and in your own life? Well, enneth Clark said you need wealth, confidence, and energy, and this song is about the feeling that comes when you do something right. I got the piano vocal album of the musical, and the combination of the lyrics, the music, and the picture brought it all back for me.
