Some very good and some not as good
Joyce Jones is a very talented organist and composer, with monumental organ playing technique. As far as her compositional skills, this album is similar to other albums that I have played through and/or owned. Some of the selections are very good, and some are good, but 2 or 3 are...

Church Organ Hymn Arrangements with PIZZAZ!
Joyce Jones never disappoints- both in her playing and her arrangements.These Preludes are finely crafted and useful. They are based on well known hymn tunes and have been received with enthusiasm at my church.

Good Stuff!
Very good arrangements of well known hymns. The arrangements are unique enough to never be boring, but some will take some practice time to get up to performance. The hymns selections will be useable in most churches. A good book to have.
