Excellent resource
I bought this with an eye toward practicing for an upcoming community orchestra audition. It is exactly what I expected it to be: selections of the more challenging parts from the standard orchestra repertoire. I recommend it to anyone pursuing an amateur orchestra spot, or a music school opening.

Orchestral audition practice repertory
The ideal option for preparing for orchestral auditions - I used to borrow these volumes from the library so often that it made sense to get my very own copy... All exerpts taken from standard audition material, though sometimes exerpts will be slightly shorter than asked or from a section...
