Simply Beautiful
This is another one of Eric Whitacre's masterpieces. The recording I have of the piece is perfect. The oboe solo is absolutely stunning and so are the flute and picc parts. For such a young composer,(born in 1970), what Mr. Whitacre does to music is truly amazing. My wind ensemble...

Wonderful Piece!!

Magnificent
This piece of music is one of the greatest ballads ever made. I am a french horn player, and my part is really great. The euphonium solo is just incredible. I rated this piece as an advanced piece because a musician has to have feelings for this piece to play...
