A Must Have...
I love this book. It ranges from fairly simple pieces (ex. La Cinquantain) to pretty difficult ones (Mozart Sonata), but also has good intermediate songs (Telemann Concerto or Schumann Romances). I am a third year oboist (now a sophomore in high school) and I especially like how a growing oboe...

a great variety of works.
I hesitate filling in the terms of difficulty, because of the great variety of difficulty in works. For instance the difference (in difficulty) between the Corelli Sarabande and Mozart Sonata. However for any oboe player there is something to pick. That's a strong point.
