Excellent rendering!
Arrangement is just about perfect for the piano, including artful "guitar solos". Mostly in key of C, last 2 pages are in C minor. Large reaches.

OK...
I'm a GN'R fan and not only is this in the wrong key, but it just doesn't come across as the real thing... I also feel like the way it was packaged and put across leaves you feeling like Guns N' Roses were drug-addicted drunks who liked Greek front writing (not that there is anything wrong with that). It also is missing out on vital orchestration moments that could have easily been included as a part for just the pinkie finger to play, or as a number of other fingerings. All in all, I would say this is NOT one of the best editions. Many music stores now offer the option to buy sheet music right there and have it printed. Not only will it be cheaper this way, you can request to have it transposed. "C" sounds okay but by far "B" is the correct (both of these are major). I would suggest listening to other GN'R epics such as "Estranged", "Patience", "Coma", and (although it isn't extremely long) "One in a Million" to get a feel for the general mood of the song.

Love it
This is such a cool interpretation - its simplified and stripped down but comes across beautifully. It actually sounds like a contemporary version of the song. Friends of mine actually walked down the aisle to this version for their wedding! Don't buy it expecting the epic 80's hair metal/symphony sound. Pull out your old cassette tapes for that instead.

Well Done.
Complex enough to be interesting and accurate, but not so difficult that you will not be able to master quickly. Very pretty and enjoyable to play.

Great
I don't actually know this tune, I bought it to learn for someone else that likes the song. After I learned it, they said that it sounded a lot like the original. The sheet music is a half step higher so that it is in the key of C. The right hand is playing the vocals throughout most of the song.

awesome but in wrong key
I love the piano arrangement for this song - but it's in C Major, which the actual song is not...so if you're like me and love to jam along with the cd player, no can do :(

PIANO & VOCAL
If you want to be able to perform this song with piano & vocal I think it is a good arrangement. It transposes the guitar solos into the arranagement and doesn't arrange the melody line in the piano accompaniment allowing for a full performance. It may seem simplified but it is a basic song. Keep in mind that the song is recorded a half-step lower (and sounds darker) than this arrangement, but this is what Axl plays. Very enjoyable.

OK
As OK as can be expected for a genious song over-simplified - particularly weird playing plain piano notes for parts intended for an electric guitar solo. Seeing Axl Rose playing this live puts this rendition to shame, but its better than nothing, I guess.

Great song, well transcripted. Kinda weird though, that it's transcripted a half step higher than recorded...

Great Arrangement
I can't believe people are dissing this arrangement. It IS the piano part you hear on the CD note for note. I was proud to learn how to play it.

GnR November Rain
This, like a lot of sheet music, sounds better if you are playing with OTHER music....otherwise, its kind of dull

Basic Chords
I was very dissappointed when this came in the mail... however it may have been my fault as well. I purchased Appetite For Destruction which was a full blown tab book. I purchased this item at the same time and was disappointed when it came as a chord sheet. I can figure out the chords myself. I was needing more of the lead tabs.

Re - views
For piano, this is a beginner piece. It is very simple, and the same progression is repeated throughout the song. The guitar solos are harder, but some practice will make them achievable. The reason it's written half a tone lower is because that is how it is played. All guitars and basses are tuned half a step lower, and the piano is transposed (digitally) down half a step. What is written, is how it is physically played.

Are you kidding me?
A total waste of money unless you are looking for "easy play" piano - written a half-step higher than the recorded version, so the tone is completely off. I buy the sheet music so I can learn to make it sound like the original, not cheap knock-off version! This will make me more cautious about buying sheet music online.

Very Nice
This piece does start out in the key of C. (no sharps or flats) But does change to a harder, key in the end.(Eb) (3 total flats) I rate this piece over all great.

Good, but has a catch.
I basically learned to play with this song. However, the baseline in it is wrong, aside from the fact the music was written a half step above the way it is played. Listen to the song, and you will know. It is noticeable most in the intro, starting at the second measure. It should be two whole steps higher. If you can get past that fact, and realize that everything must be played a half step lower to sound authentic, then pick this one up. The intro sounds great when slightly corrected.

pretty good
It is kind of dificult to find rock sheet music for piano that sound near the original sound, becouse most of the arrengements for piano are made easier sacrifying a lot of the style or are melody transcripcions that don't care for the piano harmony and rythm and usually satisfaid only to guitar players or pianist that play the voice parts when there is no singer. However, this sheet and the song are perfect examples of a rock song for piano and the arrengements keep the original idea of the song, eventhoug it's a simplified version. It fits quite good whether for a solo interpretacion or for a band (piano/vocal/guitar). I recomend it.

Although i still sometimes find it quite difficult to play,it is a really good piece.I love guns n roses especcially this song. There are a few parts of this piece that i think don't sound much like the real song, but hopefully i will get the hang of it and be able to play it perfectly on the piano!!If you are a fan,get this-you'll like it!

Great Song!
This is a great song for the intermediate piano player. Great written out solo, easy but it songs complicated! I won a talent competition with this piece. The crowd loved it. i used just piano and vocal and it worked out just fine.

Great
This is a great Sheet Music written by Axel Rose. I enjoy playing this song over and over especially when playing alone with the band on my Jukebox. I recommend this song to all Guns N' Roses fans. Even though the actual song is played half a step lower and the ending is modified, it's still a great song to learn for piano.
