excellent
Excellent selection of original classical pieces. Good print, handy thin size. It's actually level 3. This series correlates to the Fundamentals of theory series. These pieces are analyzed in the Fundamentals Theory books--a very good way to develop motivation or interest in the student.

Great book to have.
My daughter was on level I. It is a natural progression as she progresses to the next level. I also order the CD for the level II. It is highly recommended to have so you can play it in the car. She loves it.
