Good music for not very good piano players
It's a good book if you enjoy playing the piano but haven't got the skills/time/dedication to master Debussy or Chopin. It's not for total beginners but the pieces are do-able with a bit of effort and very satisfying. Most are somewhat shortened or slightly simplified versions of the recorded pieces but are still in the original keys - very useful! If you dont own the recordings you'd do well to listen to them via a streaming website such as Grooveshark. The style of music is modern, tuneful, uplifting and romantic - better to listen to than for me to describe, but if you like modern pieces by the likes of Ludovic Einaudi, Craig Armstrong, etc, you'd be happy with these. It's a good book, I'd recommend it :)

Unusual...
off the beaten path enough to be interesting.

Boring collection for the most part
While new age typically has an entrancing repetition, it is usually calming yet has enough variation to stay interesting. Most pieces in this collection are just plain redundant... boring to play (and hear). Wish I didn't buy it.

LOVELY!
The songs are fun to play, not too hard so they're easily mastered for those of us who want instant gratification without hours of plunking away to get the notes right. Nice arrangements and a good selection of songs.

Music you will remember...
This book is full of beautiful songs. I am not very advanced, but I fell in love with "Christofori's Dream" and I was compelled and able to play it. It is one of my all time favorite songs. If you get this book, make sure to look at that song first!

Beautiful, playable music!
I am a harpist and pianist, and I play most of the songs in this book on both instruments. Wonderful, gentle relaxing songs!

The Book's Falling Apart...
... Because I play from it so much! This was my first new age book, and I love it. Simple enough for an experienced player to sight read, yet allows for growth in expression. Fun, contrasting pieces everyone can enjoy
