Great for young beginners!
I have used this book successfully with students as young as four and as old as six. I would highly recommend it for the typical four or five year-old.

Music for Little Mozarts-Music Lesson (Book 1)
I have purchased the Little Mozarts series to use for teaching my four year old granddaughter. I think they will be perfect for her to introduce her into the world of piano.

For the VERY early beginner
Lessons move very slowly, but this is great for the small child whose fingers have not developed much independence or strength.

Best for very young kids
The entire Music for Little Mozarts series is a cute little series for very young kids (maybe 3 to very young 5 year olds). I do think that it is more of a general music course than a piano course, but it can still be very effective for acquiring musical knowledge at a very young age.

Great Music Foundation
My 5 year old twins love Music for Little Mozarts. They enjoy the music characters (Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse) that go with the books. I find them humming the songs and talking about music all the time. What a great foundation to build on! They are having so much fun, they don't realize all the concepts that are being covered by the program. I highly recommend this program for children.

Great Piano Adventures with Music Friends
Every young child will delight in learning music with this book. The illustrations are so cute and the lessons are easy to understand. A great atmosphere of imagination for a good piano foundation for ages 4,5, and 6 year olds!

Great for Young Beginners
As a piano teacher I would recommend this book for the very young beginner. I have used it to teach students as young as 3 years old with success. It is very user friendly, so Mom or Dad can easily help out at home too. It has a Discovery Book and a Workbook that can partner with it too, as well as a CD so you can hear what the song should sound like. You can even get little plush toys of the characters in the book.
