I think this is a great reading text for guitar students. Most professionals read in fifth position and that's where this book starts. Very logical. And the use of classical themes for exercises is nice.

Great for filling in Student's fretboard knowledge
This is not a fretboard pattern book! Fretboard patterns are great, and are very important for developing speed, fluidity, and understanding of a guitar fretboard. But they tend to be a crutch that guitarists use to avoid learning where ALL the actual NOTES on the fretboard lie. After all, what...
