classic lines

A great collection of notated and tabbed classic soul bass playing, the blue print for great bass lines. Also includes accurate lyrics, melody, vocal harmonies and chord notation...so an excellent 'fake book' for the whole band, not just the bass foundation. Great for analysing why these lines worked so well...

A bigger lesson than just songs

These lines (and songs) are just as valuable for their groove/pocket lessons as they are for learning great tunes.

Easy to play notes

This is a great book for the beginner. The notes are really easy to play. It would be really good if it had the play along CD to hear how it actually sounds.
