Morning Snowfall by Carol Matz. For Piano. Piano Solo; Solo. Early Intermediate level piece for the Piano Solo event with the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) Festivals Bulletin 2008-2009-2010. SMP Level 2 (Late Elementary); NFMC Level: Primary Class 4. Sheet. 4 pages. Published by Alfred Music Publishing (AP.22493).
This delicate solo depicts perfectly the wonder of discovering fresh morning snow. It is an excellent piece for working on balance between the hands, shaping the melody and using legato pedal. The left-hand rhythmic ostinato in the opening and closing sections will aid in learning and memorizing the music as well.

Makes for pleasant listening
I love to give this song to my students. It is fairly easy, but they do feel as if they are playing real music. It is great piece to teach beginning pedal. It is also lovely for the listener. I have used this song in recitals for my beginning students....
