Alexander Guilmant was a French organist, teacher, composer, and editor. Guilmant spent much time editing and publishing works of other composers, and his own music was influenced by Liszt, Schumann, Franck and Saint-Saens. The Morceau Symphonique, Opus 88, is composed for trombone and piano. Separate trombone part is included with the score.

Anyone for Tenor Clef?

Any piece that starts with a minor 6th is taking a chance, but this one is worth it. The only obstacle in this publication is that the solo part is in tenor clef (which isn't all that bad), but there ARE editions out for bass clef should you need it....

this is an amazing piece of music. it sounds beautiful! you can do so much with it, its amazing. every trombonist should have this!
