Wonderful for the Moody Fan

This is a very nice compilation of the Moody Blues work. Easy block cord for beginners and tablature for the more advanced. I still wish someone would publish "Never Comes The Day." It's not here but several great songs are.

Some Hits-Mostly Misses-

For anyone who's ever owned a Moody Blues recording, (C.D., L.P., Cassette), this compilation isn't so much Moody Blues as much as code blue. It's obviously put together by another corporate drone who sees the music in terms of dollar signs as opposed to true artistic expression as a learning tool. A few of the Moody's classics are here, (Knights in White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon, SeeSaw, Questions, etc.) however, many of the classics that enable the group's identity are, woefully absent and otherwise unobtainable. (i.e. The Best Way to Travel, Are You Sitting Comfortably?, Never Comes the Day, etc.) For those who are happy with the usual "Top 10" sales-wise, this'll do. For those who seek the "feeling of the band", this will only tease. Sorry!
