A wistful, melancholy solo for young wizards in training. This minor key solo has a graceful, medieval sound with appealing harmonic progressions. It uses a repeated, dotted quarter - eighth pattern throughout. Late Elementary piano solo (HLSPL Level 3); 3/4 meter; Andante tempo; D minor mode (flats as accidentals throughout); 8va; remains for the most part in 5-finger position with extensions to a 6th. 41 measures; Performance time: 1 minute 05 seconds.
