V.Good but above average skills required
An excellent book - one which you've got to reread to remember everybit of songwriting. In my opinion above average skills of music theory are needed in a lot of places. I also think a CD where you could listen to Mr Perricone's own little melodies would have improved the...

Never write another bad melody
This is the best book on songwriting (excluding lyrics) that I've seen. It covers an awful lot of ground and goes into greater depth and detail than many other books. Granted, beginners will likely feel a little intimidated at first, but I say, ‘just reread it again’, what you’ll learn...
