Haunting sound - in a gaelic way
My ladies trio has been doing this song for almost two years now. It has been requested over and over and over again. It has a Christian message veiled within it. We've even done it at funerals because of the message it contains. The piano part is intermediate for difficulty and sets a melancholy mood. The vocal ranges go from G below middle C (for the alto) with the highest soprano notes easily reached at a C# (8ve above middle C) SO if you wanted to transpose it higher you could. There are a few 'crunchy' parts that resolve nicely and a few part lead-ins that add lots of variety. Just an excellent arrangement that's full of interesting singing. Get it and try it - I've also done it solo from the same arrangement.
