Tried and True Standard

This has been around for decades, but it's still a great resource for teaching music theory... Purchased for an upper elementary horn player, but appropriate for any instrument.

Highly Recomended Self Teaching

You can learn at your own speed and repeat anything you need to. If you need help, you can get a teacher to grade the tests. I learned things that were not mentioned by my teacher. You can get a deeper understanding of your music and appreciate it better
