Great tabs! Great songs! Definetly something a big Metallica fan should get if they play the guitar. Not recommended to beginners.

Powerfull riffs, and sizzling solos
This book is a great study of Metallica's style. The transcription is precise. For beginners it's a great start to learning how to riff heavy. And for advanced players you get loads of licks for soloing.

Welcome Home (To A Great Book)
Wow. I suppose thats simple enough. This book may look difficult at first glance, but give a a day or two. In no time you'll be playing songs from one of their best if not their best album. And along with that, this book allows you play a few songs right from the start. I bought it maybe a week before i wrote this review, and im already kicking *** at 'Master of Puppets'/'The Thing That SHodl Not Be'/'Sanitarium'. This book is worth it, especially if you're like me, buying your first Metallica Sheet Music book and hoping to play good. As I said before, WOW is what best describes this book. So please click the yes button below if u either agree with me or if ur think I was helpful.

Great book!
Yes, death metal can be proven to be heavier and you have to be able to handle it to understand it or appreciate it. But these reviews are supposed to be about this book. Lets keep it on topic. This book is impressive. It is hard to find a Metallica book that is not a wreck, as far as mistakes are concerned. They really did their homework on this on. This, in my opinion, is Metallica's best album. If you are a Metallica fan, then you owe it to yourself to buy this awesome book.

Great Book
Kirk Hammet and James Hetfield are amazing. This book is great if you want to learn some sick solos or some great riffs. I highly recommend this to any advanced guitar player.

The Heaviest Band
this book is great. everything is tab perfectly. MetallicA is the heaviest band, all the "Death Metal" is just a bunch of screaming. MetallicA is complete perfection. 110%

This book defines what heavy metal is!!!
This is definetly a book that every guitarist should have no questions asked. Transcribed to the smallest detail, and very easy to read. I'm 14 and this is the first guitar book I've bought, and I just love playing Master of Puppets. The best HEAVY Metal Album of all time, two words....BUY IT!!! You won't be sorry!!!!

Hahahaha
You guys are calling this the heaviest and most complex stuff written? Listen to stuff like Cryptosy, Gorguts and Suffocation, and say that again, i do like this stuff though, but hate when people claim lightweight metal like this to be the heaviest.

The Gods of Metal: Metallica
wow, where to begin? Starting with Battery. Good lord, one of the fastest speed metal songs Metallica's ever done, wicked awsome riffs. Master of Puppets, well we all know how great that one is. All great songs, and tabbed out to perfection. Not even a minor mistake in the whole book. You want to get better? Get the Master of Puppets guitar tab book now! You'll be tearing it up like that masters soon.

The Greatest Metal Album Of All Time
AHH....Heavy Metal perfection my friends, if you're like me, you look at the amount of pages that a tab book has before you buy it, and as you can see, this one only has 68 pages, however, not 1 of those pages is wasted, this book is perfect in it's detail and accuracy with riffs, notes, and solos, the reason the book and album are so challenging to master is b/c there are so many different parts to each songs, and reach the same speed as Metallica isn't easy sometimes either, but if you stick with it, you will be satisfied b/c every last one of the songs on this album are masterpieces and you will play for years and years after learning b/c of how great they sound, the solos take some time to get down, but once you do, there will be no stopping you! buy this book now, trust me, if i can keep up with Master Of Puppets, then anyone can!!

Incredible
Great album. Although the solos are a bit difficult, you'll get them with practice. Must have for any Metallica fan. Even if you don't like Metallica, it is still a great album and book.

Awesome Book!
This is my favorite Metallica book that I have. All of the songs are awesome and hard to play. I've really improved my skills a notch and I can play all of this stuff and I'm only 14! Buy this book, but be ready for some wicked solos!

Puppets!
Probably THE heaviest album of all time. The riffs are great, the songs are great, hell, everything rules. This was my first Metallica album to master on rhythm guitar and it is VERY challenging no matter what song. Buy it now, damn it!

Kick a**!!!
This was the third MetallicA tab book I've bought, and I'm gonna keep buying 'em because of the quality. It helps you to play faster and better. It will improve you guitar skills like you wouldn't believe and help you work out other songs as well. A must buy!!!!!!!!

Possibly the best album ever made
Ok ok, this one or Justice for best? I don't know, but I'll tell you this much, Cliff helped to create a true master(get it)piece in his last contributions with Metallica. Battery, Master of Puppets, Disposable Heroes, Sanitarium, Orion...ah hell, they're all good, but very difficult. A very quick paced album but easily read through Cherry Lane's book. Great songs and great tab. My band has played three songs from this album alone at gigs, and we've been praised for how good they sound, guess what? We used this book. Pick it up, you'll learn some of the greatest songs ever created.
