Richards Review-
This is great for intermediates, relatively easy... but only with a bit of practice naturally! Keep on trucking and you will be flying come the end of the book. Beginners should definately think about this one though....

This Album Rocks
When I first heard the song "Complicated" I knew I had to buy the album. Then when I got my guitar I looked around on the Internet to find the chords for the guitar but none of them sound as good as in this book.

Great Music from Canada
Who says "what's in Canada?". Obviously the people who haven't given a good ear to the great songs of this promising, young artist. I purchased this songbook a few months back, and found it easy to learn the songs of Avril and enjoy them. If you enjoyed the album "Let Go", then you'll love singing, playing the piano or guitar along with this songbook. In the new tradition of artists inspired by Hanson, this is great stuff!

A pleasure to play
It is a bit awkward at first, and at first glance you think that it is quite hard (i certainly did) I'm only a grade three but i managed to play the songs pretty easy Rock on!

sorry, screwed up oin the one below
On the review below, I put inter-advanced, I really meant to put early-inter. Sorry. And this time I gave it 5 stars so really i give it 4 1/2. Since the last review, I tried the guitar tabs, and they definetly sound awesome.

Worth the money
The songs are written well enough for the piano, and they aren't too hard. Don't look for a challenge here unless your a early intermediate, or maybe even on the low side of intermediate. The only thing to work on is playing them to tempo. The only song I don't like in it is Sk8tr Boi. Unless your singing it, it is really boring to play it on piano. If you like Avril's CD, then do yourself a favor and get "Let Go"- don't waste your money on single songs; they are all good. The only other complaint is that it has you going along in eight-notes, then all of a sudden you hit seemingly long single quarters that feels like it should have more. It's just a little awkward, but otherwise I am glad I bought it. It is a good book, but not great. The music's enjoyable enough to oversee the flaws, which aren't bad at all. You'll be happy to own it!

decent
it is a good book, but i am a *bit* peeved at 3 of the 4 'reviews' so far. this is a BOOK review...not an ALBUM review. if you don't play the guitar or piano [or own it at all] i suggest not posting that 'avril ROXXXX!'

Just Arrived
When first take a glimpse at this book you are like what the freak?! It looks pretty 'Complicated' (wink, wink). For guitar they do show the fingering for the guitar. That makes it easier so you are not trying to remember all those chords. They only hard for the guitar is the fact you need to go like frist frret to second fret and have to redue your fingering. Piano is pretty easy. Just there is alot of eighteen notes. Also its hard to keep with the beat. But you kinda get used to it. But Avril rocks so it is worth it!!
