Les Chemins de l'Amour

A gorgeous 1940 waltz, in the European tradition, which sets the Anouilh poem "Pathways to Love" to music. Poulenc wrote it for Yvonne Printemps, and the vocal line goes up only to F. Piano part is of medium difficulty. It alternates between D minor and D major.

Les Chemins de L'amour

Jacky Terasson and his trio (French jazzmen) play this Poulenc's composition in a jazz style ... simply brilliant, if you like jazz that is.

obscure arrangement

of Francis Poulenc gives us a look into the romantic past of Paris that perhaps Cole Porter would have appreciated.

Lovely!

A very charming waltz piece by Poulanc, I sugest you to listen the version sung by Jessye Norman.
