lennon and mccartney
The listing of songs on the CD itself match the listing of songs on page 1 of the booklet. However, the listing of songs that appear on your computer screen are totally different. HL needs to produce pubs with an accompaniment only track along with a demo track to provide an escape from that obnoxious xylophone lead.

Lennon and Mc Cartney
Melody cues are totally unnecessary and ruin the effectiveness of this book. A poor investment.

A music book my whole family enjoys
My son enjoys playing the songs and enjoys that grown ups sing along. Everybody knows the tune for Yesturday or Lady Madonna. I wish the CD worked more like a Karoke with the screen showing the notes when they are to be played, but so far all the music book CDs are not any help in this matter, so this book is not any different.

Good Variety
I play alone most of the time and I have this book for both Alto and tenor. I think it has good variety and is not overly difficult. It is a good morale booster for new players.

Poor CD doesn't inspire
A good accompanying CD would have the backing track complete with the appropriate instrument (i.e. Tenor Sax)playing the lead as a demonstration to give the player something to aspire to. Then it would have the backing track only to play along with. This CD unfortunately only has one version of each track consisting of the backing along with a somewhat duff sounding piano playing the lead melody - not terribly exciting in my opinion. The arrangements are ok, although they appear to be a bit condensed. e.g. "Yesterday" is played too quick for my liking.

Beatles......The best ever!
The arrangements are easy to play and even easier to listen to. If you like Paul and John, this is a must have for your own and others enjoyment. My favorites are "Oh Darling," "Yesterday" and "Eleanor Rigby".
