This one is OK.
I purchased this book to figure out some of the chord transitions so that I could perform a few of the songs at my church with my guitar. I discovered that the keys they are written for are either way too low or too high for my medium range voice (even though it says it is for just that), so I ended up transposing them anyway. In the end, the book didn't end up that useful to me, though it's nice to have in my collection. I will ask someone to play the pieces on the piano and see if they are any more useful in that way.

Different Key
This is a great book. However, if you are getting it for the vocals, bear in mind that it is in a higher key than the original recording. So, unless you are skilled at transposition, you may want to skip this one.

Amy Grant Legacy
The music book is very true to the CD. Nice font size. A guitarist related that the written chords of "It is Well With my Soul" were killers and he came up with his own version by listening to the CD.

Great arrangements
For me, this book has been great for church services, (singing and playing, and sometimes just playing for prelude, etc.), funerals, (piano only), and most recently for giving voice lessons. These arrangements are definitely a great way for kids to be introduced to old hymns, as they have a great "new" sound. Two favorites: My Jesus, I Love Thee, and Come, Thou Fount. These are in a medium range. Not as low as Amy, but for a 2nd Soprano like me, just right.

Disappointed in CD/Sheetmusic difference
I have been a fan of Amy Grant's for many years. She was, in fact, the first artist I ever heard of singing Christian music. And this album is wonderful. However, my disappointment lies in the sheet music. The CD and music are not in the same key. And so far, I have not been able to transpose. Why would a music book, based on a CD not be written in the same key, or at the very least have the correct key noted?

THE BEST AMY GRANT EVER.. BACK TO BASICS
THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST AMY GRANT ALBUM IN TERMS OF THE GOSPEL SINCE "LEAD ME ON". IT IS SO POWERFUL BECAUSE OF IT'S SIMPLICITY. NOTHING FANCY, JUST A HEART OF LOVE TOWARD THE ALMIGHTY GOD AND JESUS
